The contact owns a 2010 Lexus LX570. While driving approximately 70 mph, the vehicle stalled and the "oil maintenance required" message appeared. The contact coasted the vehicle to the shoulder and waited approximately five minutes. The contact checked the oil reservoir and noticed it was low. The vehicle was towed to price leblanc Lexus (413200 airline hwy, baton rouge, la 70817) where it was determined that the vehicle had no oil. The vehicle was towed to sewell Lexus of dallas (6421 lemmon ave, dallas, tx 75209) where it was diagnosed that the engine failed and needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 128,000.
