The contact owned a 2010 Lexus LS460. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle began to skid on the freeway. When the contact depressed the brake pedal, the vehicle failed to stop. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a side embankment, bounced back onto the freeway, turned 360 degrees, and crashed into the embankment again. The vehicle then bounced back a second time onto the freeway before it came to a full stop. Bystanders helped to coast the vehicle over to the side of the road. The air bags failed to deploy.
