The contact owns a 2010 Lexus LS460. The contact stated there was an overpowering fuel odor coming from the driver side door and the fuel filler area. In addition, the contact noticed a fuel leak near the filler neck. The vehicle was previously repaired for the failure where the charcoal canister, fuel filler neck and a pipe sub were replaced. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer because the fuel filler neck began leaking again. The manufacturer was sent a letter in regards to the failure but had not responded. The vehicle was not further repaired. The failure mileage was 4,486.
