The contact stated the failure to be a significant safety issue since it blocked his visibility. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised him to used the recycled air instead of the air conditioner unit. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 55,000.
