My dad (68 years old) has been a safe drive his whole life with no accidents. He was on his way to work the other and as he approached the stop like he stepped on the brake. Instead of the car stopping, it accelerated and ran into a Tow Truck which was at a stop light in front. The car is badly damaged and my dad was unbelievably lucky to come out with just some bruises and a stiff neck/back. This is definitely a defect from Lexus as this problem occurred a few other times but luckily there was no one in front. We plan to seek actions from Lexus to help fix this problem.

Does anyone know of a similar situation which resulted in a legal matter. Please share.
