Lexus knows about and will not fix the 1st generation of direct fuel injection on the IS250/350 engines model years 2006-2013. Lexus claims to me that when in cold climates the fuel will condense on cylinder walls and then contaminate the oil. This running rich problem then causes the engine computer to trip or present failure codes and then deactivating the vehicle stability control safety functions that are needed when the car Is driven in cold climates. Lexus said they had a program in place to deal with this problem but it expired before my car presented symptoms, this was due to the car being stationed with me in warm climates from 2008 to 2012. Lexus refuses to help rectify the situation.
In January of 2019 I has an issue with a fuel sensor and paid Lexus dealership $1800 to have it replaced. I am now having the same issue and have discovered there a recall on this car for the same thing. I feel like I should be refunded my money.

Vsc light comes on randomly and sometimes stays on for days. ABS light comes on with it and check engine light. Very unsafe when it happens I have been turning and the traction will cut out. Because of this issue we do not drive the car in the rain.
There was a fuel smell in the front engine area and cabin of my car - dangerous and obvious risk of fire - the vehicle was taken to Lexus of clear lake who has stated the leak is directly from my top fuel rail and has nothing to do with the recalls on the fuel system one in particular coming out that is due to "anti corrosion plating remnants causing the fuel pressure sensor to leak" how could the potential leaks or causes of them not effect the rail as well if its causing deterioration or "degrading" of other components in the fuel system - this part breaking down is a definite fire hazard and safety concern that should be looked at. Due to the safety issue and concern of driving the car elsewhere to have the vehicle diagnosed was $450 to even see if it was related to the recall at which time it was found the fuel rail itself was faulty and leaking with a now bill of $1000.
I recieved a safety recall notice from Lexus for my car. I have made multiple calls to Lexus to set up an appointment to get the car fixed. They do not return my calls. It has been over a month since I first contacted them.
