In my Lexus IS 250 coupe convertible, the engine and traction light have both came on at same time, and while driving on highway the engine stalls and stops not letting me give it gas. I took it to a mechanic who says it’s dealing with carbon buildup and also states there a recall for this issue with Lexus. I haven’t had the car for 30 days yet and having problems, but the shop says they did a clean up and poured some chemicals in gas tank. The next day both lights come back on and it does same thing. I need assistance and I don’t have warranty coverage from dealership who was asking unaffordable prices.
