The contact owns a 2007 Lexus GX470. The contact stated that an abnormal noise was heard under the hood. The noise was heard when the vehicle was started and while driving approximately 70 mph. In addition, unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was veered to the side of the road where an independent mechanic was unable to determine the failure. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the secondary air injection system failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 130,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Lexus GX470. The contact stated that the automatic keyless fob failed and the only way to activate the door locks was with the key fob. There was no manual entry for the vehicle. The contact stated that the doors and the rear hatch were unable to be opened. The manufacturer was contacted and advised that a representative would return her call within twenty-four hours of notification. The failure mileage was 77,000. Updated 10/17/11 the dealer agreed to fix the vehicle at no charge. Update 10/26/11
