The contact owns a 2007 Lexus GS470. The contact stated that the brakes failed while attempting to enter a parking space. The vehicle could not be stopped and traveled over the curb before crashing into a ditch. The contact was not injured. The vehicle was towed to a local body repair facility where the contact was awaiting repairs to the body damage of the vehicle. The vehicle was not inspected to for the brake failure. The VIN was not available. The failure and the current mileages were 100,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Lexus GX470. While the contact was driving approximately 35 mph, the brake pedal was engaged and the vehicle began to shake violently. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the technician stated that the failure was common and occurred on this specific model vehicle when reaching or exceeding 13,000 miles. The contact stated that the vehicle had been replaced with another vehicle twice by the authorized dealer due to the constant failure. The manufacturer was unable to provide a remedy for the failure.
