We bought this vehicle used, but it seems to have the same trouble other people have mentioned, with the hood clear coat peeling up.

The paint clear coat on my Lexus GX 470 is coming off like fingernail polish would peel, and just on the hood. I took it to the dealership and they said it was my fault and I should have had it waxed. It has been garaged and I work one day a week. I am astounded at this replay, and given that I had to replace the whole dashboard due to Lexus fault, I am suspected that my clear coat is a wax problem.
