I purchased this vehicle and there was a dash cover on the dash. It was fixed in place, so it was hard to see underneath before the transaction was complete. They told me there was a slight crack in the dash which is why the cover was placed there. On a side note, the cover looks like someone carpeted the dash. Anyway, after purchasing the vehicle, I removed said cover. The cracks are pretty significant and run across the entire dash.

I worry about these cracks causing a major issue if the air bag was to deploy. I called Lexus and they said it was a known issue, but they could not and would not offer any assistance. I said is there any way to get the dash for at least cost. The company representative said "no". I thanked her for her consideration of the two second response and hung up. Lexus should be proud of their vehicles and stand by their craftsmanship. This defect is obviously an issue on many GX470s and Lexus will not do anything about it.
