The contact owns a 2007 Lexus Gs. While reversing at approximately 3 mph, the contact struck a pole. There were no injuries. The vehicle stalled and would not start and the check hybrid indicator illuminated. The vehicle restarted after 40 minutes, but the warning indicator was still illuminated. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence and the warning indicator was no longer illuminated. The dealer diagnosed that the hybrid battery was faulty and needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 102,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Lexus GS450 hybrid. The contact was driving approximately 55 mph when she began to feel an abnormal tingling sensation in her feet, face and upper torso. The contact began to grow nauseous while in the vehicle. She researched what potentially could have caused the influx of nausea and found that the vehicle may emit electromagnetic radiation due to the hybrid system. The vehicle was not taken in for examination for the cause of failure nor was the vehicle repaired. The failure and current mileage was 28,610.
