A recall notice was issued on January 12, 2020 to replace the fuel pump on my Lexus. I contacted parkplace Lexus in grapevine, Texas twice and most recently about a month ago and was told that the parts have not yet arrived. I was told that the fuel pump could fail abruptly while the car is being driven potentially causing an accident.
There's a recall on my car for the fuel pump which I was notified last month about this issue. They are still working on a solution for the issue but this isn't happening as quick as it should. I'm concerned driving knowing that my car could possibly stall at any moment as I drive on one the busiest freeways in dallas on a daily basis. I would like to see if I could have this repair expedited as I am concerned for my safety at this point.
