The contact owns a 2013 Lexus Gs 350. The contact stated that the start engine button and the radio button were defective. The buttons were close together, which caused the contact to depress the start engine button and shut off the engine while driving 35 mph. The contact was able to move the vehicle to the road shoulder and restart the engine. The dealer advised that the issue could not be corrected. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 24,100.
Issue is specific to F-sport model with striated aluminum accents interior. Anytime the sun directly hits the striated aluminum accents on the driver side a reflection of the trim piece is reflected on the driver side mirror dramatically reducing visibility when using side mirrors for lane changes and other functions.
