Drivers side knee airbag reporting codes of short in squib circuit which comes and goes. Airbag light is on when active. Also randomly reports a code with open in squib circuit which also comes and goes. History reports has the codes active and clear. Codes are present and will not clear at this time. This is happening in all scenario's of movement and parked conditions. Codes are still present when started in the morning after being parked overnight.
Takata recall my car was involved in a accident and I was hit by the right side panel and thrown up against another vehicle and then slammed into a pavement wall on the freeway I was only traveling about 10 miles when I was struck by a car traveling 70 miles and my airbags did not deploy causing injuries to my arm resulting in me having to have surgery and now I have a rod in my arm for life don't understand why these airbags didn't deploy and if not then what wasn't the Gs 350 on the list cause somewhere mines went faulty

The contact owns a 2007 Lexus Gs 350. While the vehicle was occupied with the engine on and the gear shifted in park, the front passenger curtain air bag and the rear passenger air bag (located between the back rest area) abruptly deployed. The contact heard a hissing noise prior to the failure. There were no injuries. A Lexus engineer inspected the vehicle at the Lexus dealer (3150 adams street, riverside, ca, 92504 phone: 951-353-0903). The investigation concluded that the air bag failure was not caused by a manufacturer defect. The contact was also advised that the VIN was included in an unknown air bag recall.
