My vehicle has been making noises on start-up and in time it makes the same knocking noise while idling. I brought my car to my mechanic and he says it-??s my VVTI system failing and should be remedied under campaign 13V395000. The problem is holding Lexus accountable since it-??s not an open recall under my VIN. I-??ve contacted Lexus directly and confirmed this service was not completed. My VIN is listed on your site as being a potential for this issue. Please help, thanks.

Low oil light came on 1000 miles after oil change at Lexus dealership. Car was low 2.5 quarts of oil. Blue grey smoke was coming out of the car during acceleration and car smelled like poison inside very unsafe. Car has been dealer maintained for everything. Car was certified pre owned as well. At 100,000 miles oil consumption test was done and was in fact proved to be burning oil. Car is burning way too much oil. I've had 4 other vehicles none have burned oil. This is unacceptable and I might have to buy a new engine soon. Please help me out. Thank you.

My car had several recalls on it I just recently started getting mail on the recall I got the first letter in Feb and the second at the end of March and it had to do with 3 parts valve spring, actuator, valve varient timing the week after I got my 2nd recall letter my car just stopped working when I filled it with gas, but 2 days before that I was driving then vsc, engine, ABS lights all came on and I lost power with no acceleration, I took it to Toyota and it was diagnosed and I was told I needed the recall items (3) replaced, I then was directed to take it to Lexus and they refused to honor the recall and the parts that caused my car to break down. The recall parts which they wont replace I was told it was out of warranty and to many miles. So I was told I have to get the parts fixed that were on recall in order for them to look at the car I spoke to corporate mrs judy combs she asked bobby rahal if they can assist with getting my car fixed because of the recall items and they declined instead I got a bill for $5427 if I wanted it fixed. And the service guy [xxx] told me the reason the car broke down is because of the recall items and he would love to fix it but his manager said no. So Lexus refused to honor the recall and I have to get my car fixed in order for them to look at it. I was sent a invoice that said Lexus the corporate office declined to help but it was the actual dealer that declined to replace the recalled parts. 2007 Lexus ES 350. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle unintended acceleration. The consumer stated she experienced sudden acceleration for 2 miles, that took the vehicle from 60 mph to 85 plus mph. During the acceleration period, she could not slow down despite taking her foot off the accelerator and pressing the brake pedal repeatedly. The vehicle eventually slowed down on its on Accord and decelerated. She was able to stop the vehicle. The consumer also noticed the tachometer needle usually registered between 2000 and 3000 RPM's, began to widely fluctuate between 2000-6000 rpms with no corresponding change in the vehicle engine sound.

I received an urgent safety recall from Lexus/ Toyota motors regarding a no-charge replacement for a 2gr-fse intake vvt actuator gear. When I contacted Lexus, they indicated that parts will not be available until March of 2014, (with no guarantee that they will have them at that point, ) and that they would place my name on a waiting list. I find it unacceptable that I'm informed of a dangerous safety issue, then told I have to wait 4+ months for resolution. What is an acceptable amount of time that a manufacturer has to provide parts/ materials and perform repairs? please advise.
