While driving on a freeway at speed limit my vehicle started leaning to the left and pulling to the right without me turning the steering wheel or making any turns, which almost resulted in a vehicular accident. Shortly after my windshield wipers went off without me turning them on and my gas gauge which at the time read about 3/4 of a tank went down to about 1/8.

Hello, first the headlights auto adjust low. They state its normal and I took the car to dealer a least 13 times for headlights pointing low and only gives about 3 or 4 ft on light beyond good. Now warranty expired. They didn't nothing. Rear view mirror faded it's not safe to use it. Dealer knows about the problem but wants me to 1300$ for new mirror. Front bushing system failed completely. I took it to 3 repair shops and all stated as know problem, they quoted 2000$ for repair because Lexus will not and don't sell only bushings. You have to buy all new complete arm controls. Last item, the hood started to rust from under the paint without any chips. The rust starts a bubble then chips open. All these complaints are listed Lexus forums all over google. Very easy to find and verify. I have cars over 25years old never had a rear view mirror fade to the point it's unsafe to use. Backing out of drives. Our kids and neighbors must be safe. Head lights that are unsafe, scary stuff and no ones forces Lexus to fix these. God bless and thank you!

Headlamp (afs) does not work properly. Right headlamp supposed to be auto leveling does not work properly and faces to the ground. Asked the dealership to fix it while it was under warranty and was told they did. (afs) has never worked and right headlamp falls and faces to the ground and was told by another dealership how to fix it my self. Headlamps also would turn off at night and not work and was on a trip and had to wait until they wanted to turn back on again. The headlamp still today does not face at normal degree and cannot see on the right side very well. Total cost to replace the entire head lamp is over $1,200 and was told that warranty do not cover this ever since I have complained. There is also "supposed" to be a safe guard warning the driver that the headlamps are not functioning correctly and it does not work either. No alarms go off, no lights either. Searched the internet and have found the same thing as well. Head lamp flickers and headlamp facing the ground. Steering wheel also is never level and I have had it "corrected" but im told that it is "just the road" it is never straight. Brakes have to be pushed to the floor the pump is very loud and also am told its normal. Suspension has a banging sound as well since I have had the vehicle too.

The vehicle lost the power on the middle of the road with battery light and brake light on. After towing the vehicle to near by auto repair shop, the mechanic replaced the alternator and battery light and brake light were off; however the steering wheel is 90 degree off the center plus warning lights including check engine light, afs light (blinking), traction control light were all on. The mechanic could not detect or correct this problem so I took the car to the Lexus dealer and they could not detect what caused the wheel to turned and lights turned on and it costs me $575 to turn off all the lights and restore steering wheel to the original position. Since the warranty on the car ran out, the Lexus corporate refuse to hear this issue and will not investigate the problem. I believe there is major flaws with this model and there was one previous recall related to steering wheel componant on this model. Also, ls 460 model already has exact same recall issue with steering wheel going off the center to 90 degree after excerting some force. On other separate note, the rear suspension on both sides of my car are leaking, given that my car has only about 45,000 miles. Again Lexus refuse to handle this issue since the warranty ran out. I paid close to $60K on this 2006 Gs 430 and Lexus had repeatly overlooked at these defective issues.

I' ve had this Lexus gs 300 about 11 months now and every once in a while when step on the brakes at a stop sign it will pull to the left or right, I've taken it to the dealer about 6 or 7 times but all they do is take it for a ride and of course they say it didn't do it for them. It is getting very frustrating to have this problem, it could very easily cause an accident by turning me into the car next to me. I understand some cars report the tires are responsible for this problem. They say they have checked everything that it might be but can't find anything wrong. You say you take care of all problems, but they wont do anything for me. I've been taking the car to the Lexus dealer in naperville il. I'm afraid this will be my last Lexus if this is the kind of help I get. My E-mail is [xxx] no accident so far. For the incident date I put the day we bought the car.
