For model year 2006 and 2007 in the usa there is no side indicators to let other drivers know your gonna make a turn. In Japan there was/is fender indicators not sure if they function as signal indicators however were removed or not included in the usa release. I was almost blind sided on the freeway a few days ago cause the driver to my right didn't/couldn't see my signal indicators. Other drivers have to be directly behind or directly in front to see the turn indicators. For model year 2008 to 2011 identical body and style only with the addition of turn signal lights on the rear view mirrors that have a full 180 degree visibility.

I'm having serious problems with my headlights going out intermittently while driving. About 5 minutes after I turn them on, usually my passenger headlight goes out first, then about five to ten minutes later, the driver headlight light goes out. It's strange, sometimes only one goes out, and other times they both go out. The problem is, it becomes a serious safety issue when they go out, because most times I am completely unaware until someone on the road gets my attention and tells me, or I'm constantly turning my headlights off and on, (which seems to be the temporary fix). The problem with that though is I'm constantly flashing the car in front of me turning my lights of and on. Clearly there is an electrical issue here, some kind of short or something, especially when every single day I see other vehicles on the road, just like mine, having the same issue...driving around with one light on and one light off. It's ridiculous. It's dangerous! I commute 2 hours (round trip) everyday on the highway for work and my child's school, and it's dark in the morning when we leave home and dark in the evening on our way home. It's extremely dangerous, especially on fog days and rainy days like today. This issue needs to be recalled. Enough is enough!

When I was driving at night, all of a sudden driver side headlight (low beam) turned off and I was driving with one light all alone. I tried switching on and off but still didn't resolved. Next day morning both lights were glowing but the driver side light went off after 10-15 min. Then I turned off and on, it came back. Not sure whether its a faulty light bulb or something else.

Eventually became a problem with fkickrtin/inoperable.. ibwasvubabmevti get suti registered because of defective part in lamp. I had both replaced. Requested Lexus to assist with cistvof replacement. They declined. I was told by brenna, Lexus headquarters, there was a previous lamp recall. I missed it. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of replacement. Totalling $769.54. I have a Lexus GS300 2006. The lights have been shutting off, turning off intermittently. It is usually the right side but also happens on the left side. You can fix the problem by turning the on off switch. However it will continue to shut off randomly. This is a safety hazard and needs to be addressed. It has been happening for over a year and Lexus dealership says to replace just the bulb. The bulb is fine, something else is wrong. Others have complained as well.

My vehicle head light flickers on and off. When it flickers out, if you turn the light switch off and on, it turns the light back on. The light may stay on or flicker back out without knowing. I had the light bulb replaced, costing $275 thinking that was the issue. Weeks later, I was notified by a random person the same light was out. Again, turning the switch on and off, allowed the light to turn on, but later flickering out and on. I took the vehicle in to Lexus, they first said it sounded like the light bulb was burning out, but later identified it as a component inside the light housing. To repair this, is a cost around $1,800 parts and labor, part is about $1,350. An issue with unstable headlights would be a safety issue on the vehicle. I believe the manufacture should have to recall a part which should last on average to any other vehicle on the highway. The cost to repair it, makes it even more of a safety issue, because most people will not replace the entire light assembly, if you can just turn the light switch off and on to start the light working again. What happens one minute the light is on, the next it is out? Lexus, should be responsible for ensuring this is a stable component of the light assembly, not the consumer!

I drive a 2006 Lexus GS300 that is having a problem with the exterior headlight randomly turning off while I am driving. This can be very dangerous and I have already received one ticket for this. I see there are many other people on here complaining about the exact same problem and I don't understand why an investigation has not been opened. This exact same problem happened to what im assuming was my other side, about a year ago. It was very expensive to fix, I think it cost me about $1500 at the Lexus dealership. I definitely cant afford to pay that right now and not to mention I already got a ticket for this. I have been trying not to drive my car at night but it is very inconvenient. Are there any alternative methods I could use as a temporary fix until I can get this fixed?

Since my vehicle has reached 80,000 miles one of my headlights would automatically turn off itself when I am driving. This happens very often. It would be either left or right that will go off or sometimes both at the same time. I would have to turn it off and turn it on again and both will work fine. I constantly have to do this every time I have my headlights on. This is very frustrating and dangerous when I have my kids in the car.

Driver side headlight goes out shortly after being turned on.!!!.....sometimes if I turn the lights off and back on, they work. I was told by the dealership that my bulb needs to be replaced (cost $280) but I thought if the bulb was blown it would not come on at all. After googling the subject, I found that there are lots of other concerned Lexus owners complaining about the same problem. At first I thought I needed to replace the bulb. The bulbs are fine. This is very very dangerous in a rural area where there are very little street lighting. Dealer won't do anything. This issue keeps occurring. After careful review, it was nice to know that I am not the only one, but at the same time it is unsettling to see that so many other people are having the same problem.

This is extremely dangerous. My headlights keep going out. I've replaced the lamps and this wont fix the problem. I cant believe Lexus is letting this continue with such a major safety issue of having non working headlights. They go on and off at all times. I've got kids and im terrified to drive any time close to night fall with them in the car. I notice they are on then 5 minutes later they flicker off. I turn the switch on and off and they stay on for a bit then turn off again. This is a major safety issue and it looks like its affecting many of us. Its so frustrating that I cant get a reason for it and I've gotten 3 different estimates on the repair for 5 different things. No on can tell me what the problem is they just want me to start replacing things for 1,000's of dollars and no guarantee that it will solve the problem. This is just ridiculous. Someone please help us.

Headlamp (afs) does not work properly. Right headlamp supposed to be auto leveling does not work properly and faces to the ground. Asked the dealership to fix it while it was under warranty and was told they did. (afs) has never worked and right headlamp falls and faces to the ground and was told by another dealership how to fix it my self. Headlamps also would turn off at night and not work and was on a trip and had to wait until they wanted to turn back on again. The headlamp still today does not face at normal degree and cannot see on the right side very well. Total cost to replace the entire head lamp is over $1,200 and was told that warranty do not cover this ever since I have complained. There is also "supposed" to be a safe guard warning the driver that the headlamps are not functioning correctly and it does not work either. No alarms go off, no lights either. Searched the internet and have found the same thing as well. Head lamp flickers and headlamp facing the ground. Steering wheel also is never level and I have had it "corrected" but im told that it is "just the road" it is never straight. Brakes have to be pushed to the floor the pump is very loud and also am told its normal. Suspension has a banging sound as well since I have had the vehicle too.
