I bought a 2006 Lexus GS300. At nights the low-beam hd lights does not project far enough, I have a hard time seeing oncoming objects on the road in dark roads. I feel that this is a possible danger if not corrected.
The hid lighting system on the vehicle is aimed considerably low providing for extremely poor front illumination. The dealer claims that the lights are adjusted as high as Lexus allows. The only way to adequately see pedestrians, etc. At night is to drive with the high beams activated which is extremely distracting to other drivers. I have driven vehicles with hid/xenon lights for over 5 years and appreciate and understand how they should operate. The leveling system on this vehicle clearly has a problem.
