Lexus says there are no fuel pumps available because they rarely fail. Rarely is not the same as never. They are looking into it to see what they can do. They will not know until mondey whether they can replace it or when they can replace it. They suggested it could take as long as one to two weeks. This is not the worst vehicle I have owned because I did own a brand new 1973 Vega. It was worse but I could always get parts at my local GM dealer where I should probably purchase my next car. Even my wife is angry which is a definite anomaly.
