Lower ball joint on the suspension came apart causing the tire to dislodge. Tire jammed against right front quarter panel causing body damage. Car is in the shop right now with estimated repair costs of $1,500 excluding body damage estimates. I thank god I was only doing 15mph at the time when the day before I did a 236 mile round trip drive through highway mountain roads.
