I bought my 2013 es350 from Prestige Lexus in Ramsey NJ less than a year ago. My wife drove the car to work 6 days a week, no problem. Covid-19 quarantine made her work from home. Car sat two days in a row and the battery died. Lexus installed new battery ($250) and checked for any draw on battery. Paperwork says no draw. The next weekend the car sat and battery was dead on Monday. I jump started it and she drove everyday of the week and it was fine.
The next weekend came and car sat two days. Monday morning, car battery dead. Lexus says it is an ecu computer and 900 dollars to repair. I have another Lexus and I bought my daughter a used infinity from this dealer, they have always been fair to me. I do not blame the dealer, I am upset with Lexus for knowing this is an issue, a weakness in the vehicle they are totally aware of, and not fixing it. Why no recall? This is Toyota/Lexus, not Audi/VW - I expect better.
