Takata recall I have contacted Lexus dealer at 700 serramonte blvd, colma ca 94014 several times regarding passenger air bag of my car but I am being ignored and advised to keep driving as it is. I am worried about my family's safety because it is our family car and they travel with me all the times.
[xxx] Lexus failed to accommodate with a loaner vehicle and just keeps telling me "just be patient" every time I call them to discuss my vehicle and that it is very dangerous to drive. My vehicle has been in the garage "not driven all that time" for over four years since me and my husband are fearful for safety of our lives. The dealer has not accommodated with any recourse and just sends letters with bold red print that I am considered "zone B" and when I look up my VIN it says "remedy suspended". information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
I received my 1st recall letter last June 2016 & I have been calling westside Lexus on the katy freeway, houston, tx for the past few months & they still do not have the part in. It has almost been a year. I just received another letter about the recall & I called the dealership & they said that they are only working on the is models first & don't know when they can fix the ES models. I don't feel safe driving passengers around & I don't understand why it would take this long to get the parts in. This is ridiculous!!
The dealer, North park Lexus of san antonio, has been completely unresponsive to my requests for replacement. I have been waiting for almost one year. They have not honored my request for a rental vehicle. They have not returned a single phone call or email.....updated 06/23/

Takata recall...after receiving the 'interim notice' February 8th 2017 I checked at the dayton Lexus dealer manager of service today ( Mar 22,2017) and was told the replacement inflator will not be available for my ES350 until September 2017 making my vehicle useless for seven to eight months!!.this is totally unacceptable. Their claim as the service oriented company is a sham.
