The contact owns a 2009 Lexus ES350. The contact stated that while parked the she noticed flames coming from the front drivers side door. The contact used a piece of clothing to put out the fire. The fire department was called to the scene and a report was filed. The contact sustained burns to her left wrist and hand. As a result, the contact had to undergo surgery. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The cause of the fire was unknown. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.
Lexus 2009, model ES350. All windows and sunroof open by themselves at the same time at different occaisons. Vehicle has been brought and left at keyes Lexus in van nuys, ca. Numerous times to correct from beginning of my purchase. They failed to correct the problem to this date after promissing to do so. The danger exists if this happens while driving, it could cause an accident.
Lexus 2009, model ES350 security system goes off by itself at odd hours all windows and sunroof open by themselves at the same time on different occasions. Now Toyota is replacing all computers that relate to this electrical problem. The vehicle has been at the service department over a week.
Lexus recall on ES 350 I took my Lexus in to the dealer for the recall action I was told that a accelerator override system was installed and if the gas pedal and the brake was applied the engine would shut off. I fear that this is unsafe due to the loss of power steering and power braking.
