passenger airbag can shoot metal into the passenger

This car is in the group of cars that has the deadly passenger airbag recall. The recall paperwork says that if the passenger airbag goes off, then it could kill the passenger because the metal canister that inflates the airbag can explode. Their fix...don't carry a passenger in the front seat until they decide to fix it. Lexus STILL hasn't come up with a fix and we are now 6 months into this!!! I am beyond furious with them. How can they think that its ok to have a car that won't carry passengers???? I have called multiple times and they say they still haven't figured out a fix. I have your freaking fix!! REPLACE THE AIRBAG!! I have friends with other brand cars with this same issue and their manufacturers actually care about their customers and have replaced the airbags. I have a luxury car and my manufacturer tells me to shove it up my rear. I will NEVER buy another Lexus again.
