This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
May 17, 2014 traveling on Florida turnpike after two hours had two tires separate. Replaced two tires in palm beach gardens and continued another hour when a third tire separated. Tires were all cooper CS4 P205/65R15. In key West replaced the remaining failed tire and the so far fourth remaining cooper tire. Was not able to retain the separated tires as was 200 miles from home with packed car.
Defective rims that allow the tires to leak air. After that happened many times, we bought new tires thinking that would solve the problem. It has continued. This is a concern and want to prevent an accident due to this. Other than that the Lexus is a great car.
