When the vehicle had travelled 5000k I noticed a small vibration in the vehicle. I took the vehicle back to Lexus Dealership and they did nothing. the vehicle has been back 7 times for this and they have had the car for up 5 week then another 2 week and have done nothing. the vibration has now got that bad the Lexus dealer advised me that they would buy the vehicle back. When this got to Lexus Australia they said no we fix vehicle s not buy them back. the car has now covered 21000 km the vibration is that bad my wife fells ill when it happens.
Lexus have written to me ad told us that they have determined this is a characteristic of the petrol/ Hybrid powertrain and it was a phenomena. But they have past the feedback to the factory. and they wont buy back the vehicle.
All I can do now is to let your readers know not to buy a CT200h as they cant fix the vibrations that starts at 5000k and slowly gets worse. I don't know how to let Lexus Japan know how disappointed we are with this vehicle as it was my wife's retirement present for me. I have brought Toyota all my life in fact I am a fleet buyer with them, after this experience Toyota its self will suffer as deep down My Lexus is a Toyota but Lexus Australia services sucks.
Consumer Law says we should get a refund but I must take them to court to do this. Sell the car and cut my losses seems to be the only way to rid myself of this car and cut my ties with Toyota while the car is under warranty.
