The contact owns a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. The contact stated that while her husband was driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle started to lose motive power. The contact stated that her husband depressed the accelerator pedal; however, the vehicle failed to respond as needed. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle coasted to the side of the highway and stalled. The contact stated that her husband attempted several times before being able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was driven to the destination; however, after returning to the vehicle, the vehicle failed to restart. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and was diagnosed with fuel pump failure. The contact was informed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
