The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the driver's side air bag wiring harness was too short, causing the air bag warning light to illuminate. The dealer replaced the driver's side air bag wiring. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 20,679.
