The contact owns a 2010 Land Rover Range rover sport. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, there was an abnormal increase in engine rpms up to 4000. The vehicle then stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle stating that there was a problem with the software. The software was updated by the dealer yet the failure persisted. The vehicle was not further repaired. The failure mileage was 4,113 and the current mileage was 6,500.
