The contact owns a 2006 Range rover sport. The contact stated that she noticed a fracture in the dash board which was compromising the air bag deployment. No warning lights were illuminated prior to or after the failure. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer and informed the contact that the failure could potentially be a defective part. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 55,000. The VIN was unavailable.

2006 Ranger rover sport- major collision air bag for driver did not deploy, owner had car serviced at dealer a few days prior because of complaints about electrical flickering on dash lights, not advised of recall that may be problem. Serious head injury to driver.
