The contact owns a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The contact stated there was smoke coming from the engine compartment. The contact stated that a message appeared on the instrument cluster that the vehicle was overheating and to pull over. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled. The contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the cooling system had failed, and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 74,000.
