My trunk door will open up on its own. I will come outside in the morning and my trunk will be open, or as we are getting in our getting out of the vehicle the trunk door will come up all by itself. I have a toddler so this posses a serious safty concern. In addition, my power train just stops on its own where the vehicle wont accelerate as it should. i have kept up with all of the service request and needed repairs on the vehicle.

2015 evoque, 50K miles only. On Feb 26th 2020, I was on the interstate and noticed a humming sound from engine side. Gradually it because so loud and non ignorable. The vehicle lost power and slowed down on the interstate. My whole family survived a cluster crash by mere luck. Dealership says turbo is blown and this is common problem. Bills $4500 and am out of warranty since Nov 2020. Common problem "?? how can a 5 yr old 50K vehicle have a common problem that costs $4500 to fix " my research show Land Rover was always aware of this turbo failure issues and never attempted to fix it. This is a design issue hidden from customers and we are made to pay for the defect. Please investigate this with lr and I request a recall of turbos on all defective lr vehicles asap.

((((exact same story as another report filed: NHTSA id number:11076170))). I got to a red light, turned green I go, get up to 25mph, car cuts out (complete loss of power). Engine light is now on. I get the car to start I immediately turn around to get home. * my car looses all power and shuts off in the freeway home. * I finally get the vehicle home, and my husband ran diagnostics. - the computer is saying it is the variable valve timing control solenoid issue. * my car only has @80,000 miles on it, and should not have this issue.. **this is a huge safety concern. * I haven't contacted corporate Jaguar Land Rover yet. This seems to be a very big reoccurring issue, with this year/make/model, and it seems like Land Rover is doing nothing about it.. looks like it may be time to lawyer up, and set up a class action!. semper fidelis

I purchased a car at auto magic 3 months ago. I just get a flat tire and realized the dealer did not give me the key to unlock the tire. I dropped the car to them and they could not find a key to give me. They have me go home and will not give me a car to drive while I am waiting for the key.

On 9/22/2017 I purchased a certified pre-owned(cpo) Range rover evoque from dimmitt Land Rover in clearwater. Immediately after the purchase, I brought up several issues with the vehicle to include a missing front passenger window tint, 3 blown speakers on the front passenger door, part of the a pillar falling off while driving, problems with the eco start/stop not working, and a tire that sounded like a tractor trailer. Since 9/22/2017 I have been to the service department some 6 times, the most recent on June 8th 2018 for eco start/stop issue and the again the tire noise. Neither one was addressed at all. I also brought the vehicle in for scheduled maintenance twice since 9/22/2017 and both time the maintenance required a tire mandatory tire rotation at 40,000 and 50,000 miles. On neither occasion was the tire rotation done. I was forced to conduct the tire rotation myself on 6/9/2018. I am a disabled veteran with multiple medical conditions and have no business doing labor work. This is why I paied them to do the work. They also have used my disability to discriminate against me on multiple occasions going as far as using predatory tactics with my disability to try to sell me out of my vehicle instead of fixing the problem. Keyless start - signal being jammed by cell phone. In addition to another recent issue of parking brake engaging at start and while driving down the road. Land Rover cannot find error codes in software and is not able to see or resolve the issue. Land Rover noted that other people have had the cell phone jamming issues. Land Rover is aware but, there is no fix at this time. I've had the vehicle for more than 2 years and the problem has developed over the last 3-4 months time frame. I need help with figuring out the problem - if its an application on my phone or recent apple software update. Logical reasoning tells me that the issue is coming from my phone if Land Rover cannot find a "technical" issue on their end. Land Rover should have security that would prevent this from happening though. If this is some type of harassment, I want to get to the bottom of it. Can you help me?
