The contact owns a 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The contact became aware that the passenger-??s side air bag warning light was not illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the dealer stated that the restraint control module needed to be replaced, and that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V395000 (Air Bags). The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 15,000.

The conditions doent clear in the next subsequent ignition cycle. There is a recall on evoque 2012-2013 of exact problem, but not in this VIN number car that I affected

The contact owns a 2013 Land Rover Range rover evoque. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that there was a loss of communication with the restraint. The vehicle was taken to Land Rover richmond (11670 midlothian turnpike, 23113, va, (866) 223-3943) where it was diagnosed that the sensor and passenger side cushion needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 40,270. The VIN was not available.

Passenger airbag sensor has disabled my passenger airbag. Note: Noticed other Land Rover vehicles have a recall for this same issue. If my vehicle has the same issue, shouldn't it be recalled as well? no accident, the light just came on for no reason while driving with no passenger.
