Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Land Rover Range rover. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V374000 (air bags). The contact stated that manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The part was not available for the repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
Takata recall. Local dealer, Jaguar Land Rover dallas, makes it difficult to impossible to get the recall performed in a reasonable time. Three attempts. Last one, 5 weeks until appointment, then after having the vehicle eleven days, the work was not done. Updated 12/8/2017
