The contact owns a 2006 Land Rover Range rover hse. The contact noticed that the steering wheel would remain stuck in an upward position intermittently, similar to NHTSA campaign id number: 08V248000 ( steering:column). The failure began six months ago. The dealer was notified and informed the contact that there was nothing that they could do. The manufacturer was informed and a complaint was filed. The manufacturer also advised the contact to take the vehicle to the local dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The current mileage was 42,000 and the failure mileage was unknown.
