The contact owns a 2007 Land Rover LR3. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH and depressing the brake pedal, there was a delay in the vehicle responding. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact aggressively depressed the brake pedal, and the vehicle came to a complete stop. The dealer was contacted and stated that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 213,000.

  • 25,000 miles
The brakes on my 2007 Land Rover LR3 discovery series III began squeaking at 20,000 miles and by 25,000 miles I was told by the Land Rover service department that the brake pads and rotors (the entirety of the brakes besides the brake lines) needed to be replaced. He said it is a dangerous situation but when I asked if Land Rover will pay he said no. Please investigate this if it is within your power.
