The contact-??s daughter owns a 2015 Land Rover LR2. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, she became aware of an abnormal fuel odor inside the vehicle. Additionally, after refueling the vehicle, the following day the fuel tank and fuel level was noticeably lower than expected. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the fuel tank outlet flange was leaking. The contact was informed that the fuel tank outlet flange needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,900.
