This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The "spiral cassette" on my 2000 Land Rover discovery has failed three times (about every 30,000 miles or two years). When this happens, the SRS light comes on and I have been told that my airbag SRS is not functional. I have had it replaced and not "tested" the air bag. It has now failed again. This seems to be a defective design or consistently defective manufacturing which leads to failure of a vital safety system. I would like you to investigate to determine the extent of this problem and whether or not a recall is necessary. I believe the part is "yrc100350 rotary cassette"
