The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic and the engine sensor was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the to the local mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was later taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the timing chain was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired.
