Purchased this 2022 Stinger and thought I was going to die, me, my passengers and the damn car smelled so bad from the GAS, WE ALL HAD HEADACHES AND NAUSEA EVERYTIME I drove the CAR or anyone rode in this piece of dodo this craps been going on for over a week me going back and forth with mechanics with no resolution only being told to continue driving Car. Even spoke with the Dick who sold me the car. Complaint to dealership about the problem was told by Todd the Mechanic it was normal especially living here in Nevada per Todd even compared the smell of gas with his Truck. Look BUTT HOLE I'm referring to a BRAND NEW 22 CAR Off The Show Room Floor that reaks with the smell of gas in the car inside and out it is so strong its intoxicating.
Per Todd states smell like GAS from Nevada car is normal because of the heat, look butt hole this is a 22 car and it reaps with GAS. NOT OUR FIRST CAR TO PURCHASE HERE IN NEVADA! per Todd the coating underneath the car has to wear off. WHAT coating, never heard of that, per Todd drive the car for at least 1,000miles than the smell will go away, smell seems to be getting stronger not less. After numerous calls to mechanic, he tells me he will have his lead person to contact me about the problem. After attempting to reach out to the Lead mechanic and being placed on LONG wait times and aggravated calls of insults of my integrity being questioned as to the smell being normal for cars here in Nevada.
I contact Financial then Manager Attia Mansour who informed me there was a recall on Vehicle however, we were never advised of this per the protocol when we purchased this piece of dodo. Per Attia they were send a letter informing dealership of suggested GAS LOUD SMELL. He advises me have car towed in quickly as to resolve this issue ASAP! Had car towed in as per Attia suggestion awaited someone to contact me after numerous ongoing calls to the dealership for more than a week no one reaching back.
Finally I was told come pick up your car I inform Attia I'm not wanting nor feeling safe to drive the 2022 Stinger there was no explained reason for this HORRIFFIC SMELL of GAS only pick up your car. Buyers be aware of this KIA Stinger was not for warmth car demonstrates issues with GAS Lines or whatever the issue were at hand with this model they do not disclose it, kept it from me the consumer and when I looked it up never showed there was a recall. However, I did reach out to Consumers Affair filed a complaint with Jessica who stated she violated dealership and later she attempted to resend what she had to say about the GAS issues as well violating the dealership announcing no one question my integrity that the Stinger 2022 had some GAS SMELL issues. Along with the hesitation car demonstrated. I Have never been told what issue was with the car I never picked it up screwed my GOOD CREDIT and TRUST in KIA PRODUCT AS WELL THEIR COMPANY.
