The KIA Sportage 2018 LX when I purchased was already 1200 KM driven. Then I went to a drive and kilometer was 2200 Km when this problem occurred. There was no smell from the clutch and the clutch had wear off from one side but the other side was OK. Then I could drive the car for 6 days.
I tried to get help from KIA technician but they barely responded. After many days of trying they told me to purchase clutch plate and change it. But there was no warranty on the clutch which cost me USD710.00.
I told my problem but they will not listen and just say there is no warranty on the clutch. This is disgusting.I asked with other technician and they told me clutch will never wear off in 2200 Km. KIA in Nepal are not accepting it as their problem.
