Seems with 5w20 it was using a qt of oil in 1000 miles, wasn't so bad as I had gone to 10w30 since I never believed that low viscosity oils were good lubricants at higher temperatures. But I did trade it off because I really liked the Sportage I got my wife. I got a Tucson ECO which I still have and it seems to be doing fine.
