The problem is that there are no replacement parts in Australia, the parts are ordered from Korea. This is time consuming as the vehicle is off the road until parts arrive. This can be anything up to 2-3 weeks? This maybe a one off however reading reports of early model Kia they had a problem then with immobilizer. Not to mention the dealership they have been very helpful with the exception of the service manager along with the salesman that sold me the vehicle, there will not be repeat business for him as he has had his sale then does not want to know you. The dealership has been very generous in providing a loan vehicle after much discussion. I will praise the customer service line as this was the only satisfaction I received after they contacted the dealership. Will I buy another Kia in time? I have my reservations.
