If I live to be a 1000, never again will I buy another Kia. From horrible customer service at all levels to an absolute personal nightmare that almost cost me my job, my car has been nothing but trouble. After 6000 km's and 3 months my car needs another transmission and so far after 2 weeks in the garage this hasn't happened. I have had to make phone calls after phone calls to get anything done with my machine. So far I have encountered every problem imaginable. From parts for the car being in Korea, to the authorization of a air transport of a new transmission that went horribly wrong when the wrong transmission arrived, this has been the car buying experience from hell. I was supposed to move to Ontario this week from Newfoundland in my car. A car that has been deemed un-drivable until it gets a new transmission. I have had to shell out thousands of dollars in personal expenses because of this problem, and nobody seems to care. One dealership blames the other, nobody takes responsibility, I've even called the head office only to encounter an extremely rude employee. I am so exhausted with this situation that I know no other avenue but to complain to an online message board. Is every car company this disrespectful to their customers or is it because I'm young and female that I leave no impression and nobody cares??? I wonder this because for the first week my car was in the garage nobody would even tell me what was wrong with the car. "The part is ordered to fix the thing" is all that I heard. Heh, I was even lied to regarding a loaner car. All I get is nothing. One thing is for sure, never again will I buy another car from Kia. One car company may be the same as the next in regard to product but what I'm looking for is one that is at least on par in regards to service.
