Purchased new vehicle 2 months ago. Was parking car into lot and the car suddenly accelerated, jumped curb, knocked down parking sign. Would not stop with fully braking, moving onto street, and car suddenly stopped onto tree trunk.

Update from Aug 25, 2019: Car was towed by insurance and taken into body shop. Damage was mostly underneath. Contacted Kia corporation and was told that they tried to schedule a Kia Tech to examine car at dealership where it was purchased. I was told by dealership that they don't do this. I will have to have towed to another dealership to check. Meanwhile, it's now three weeks that I do not have a car or rental. All of this has brought up Red Flags and I no longer feel safe driving vehicle. I have a very good driving record and was not found at fault. However, imagine the damage if I slammed into traffic? I'm annoyed.
