Multiple Electrical Issues
2011 Kia Soul
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Kia dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: Look past the horrible hamster advertising campaign and you'll find a vehicle that is comfortable to drive, roomy and reliable. Just don't expect to set any MPG records on the highway (a side effect of driving a car shaped like a lunchbox).

In April of 2019, my car would not accelerate or change gears without pushing the pedal to the floor. This was as the stability icon was flashing. Kia installed a new transmission under warranty. In October, the same car reacted the same way it had prior to a new transmission. I took it to the Kia and reported the same same shifting issues with the same flashing stability light which initiated the the shifting to become rough prior to the install of the new transmission. The Kia dealer said they could not fix it.
I still have 2 months of warranty, but the car cannot be driven safely. I paid $82.00 for them replace a brake switch they thought might help. My car still has the downhill assist light come on while on a flat road, it goes into limp mode and WILL NOT ACCELERATE. My Kia dealer said â€there is nothing they can doâ€.
