I bought my 2019 Sorento LX with convenience package brand new back in October 2018. Right now it has about 53,000 miles on the clock and the suspension is really harsh on most road surfaces (unless it's paved all the way asphalt, but unfortunately here in North Texas, most non-toll roads are concrete-paved). I could literally feel every minor bump and imperfect road condition on my butt. To me it's one of the stiffest factory suspensions I have ever experienced, almost to the point as if I have installed stiffer, aftermarket lowering springs. It's quite annoying to me as this is an SUV which is supposed to be soft, forgiving on the road conditions and comfortable, and can filter out most minor road imperfections.
I have the lower trim LX which is equipped with 235/65 series higher profile tires, and still could feel every bit of the harshness. Also seems like the car has a pretty low tolerance towards wind shear at highway speed. By no means this is a light car, but it still has a heavy tendency to be blown side-to-side by just mild-mid wind on the freeway, and I have to make constant correction on my steering just to make it go straight at that speed. And those constant corrections make me super nervous and tired after a while.
Those are the two major problems I encountered so far, despite most reviews on youtube said the Sorento has a soft and comfy ride, to my experience it's almost to the point of unacceptable.
