I brought the car in to check for a squeaking noise when driving on a bumpy road. It's brand spanking new. Get all the problems fixed asap, right? The dealership has had my car since October 2nd and are still working on it. Not even 2000 km, one month on the road, and the vehicle has spent more time at the garage than in my driveway. Had I known it would take more than 3 weeks to fix a squeak, I would never have bought a Kia in the first place. I call for an update, and they say they are waiting for a response from Techline Kia. The problem is still under investigation. At this point, just give me back my 40,000$, or give me a new car.
Update from Oct 30, 2017: Day 28 today of my Sorento's stay at the Kia dealership hospital. I just received a call that I can recuperate my vehicle. However, it is not fixed. The engineers at Kia Canada collected data and will continue to work on the problem on their own. I will get a call back when/if the solution is found.
