Starting about a month ago I noticed that my key fob all of a sudden would not work or start the vehicle. Replaced the battery with a new one, and it then seemed to work fine. Two days later had the same issue, but the light on the fob was fine. No electrical on the car at all, no sounds no lights and nothing turning over. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected and everything worked fine for a month.
Had the same issue today. Only this time I opened the hood and the lights started working. It started up and died mid turnover. I then wiggled the wires on the negative terminal, making sure both + and - were secure and it started working again... This time I took some video. If this persists I will have to take it in, but know it can't be repeated then doubt they would do anything. I would just be without my car for weeks... I've read other Kia's from different years have the same issue. Where is my recall?!?
